Presentation Design

Lead Designer | Ideation

Part of my role at Iacono was to lead our department in presentation design and part of the creative response team on RFPs. I not only lead our department in creating Powerpoint/Keynote presentations templates for numerous clients, but guided others in creating speaker support for National Conferences and was responsible for training other Designers and Producers in Keynote and Powerpoint.

In my role, I was constantly using InDesign to create RFP responses, internal presentations, or creating interactive PDFs for approval documents. Early on in my career, when our team would have a live pitch with a client, I saw that they were using generic PDFs that the client had already seen before. I encouraged our department to let me have a day before a presentation to convert it to a Keynote. This allowed movement and control into how our information was being pitched to clients and to further show our scope of work.

I love taking presentations to the next level whenever I can.

I was recently given the name “Moving Up” for a client’s charity ball. The client had no purpose or reasoning behind the meaning, so they asked our team to come up with a storyline that could influence the event/logo/theme/etc. I was given the project and told to run with it single handedly to come up with two concepts and create a Keynote for the live presentation. This video is an example of some of my recent work for that client pitch (created in Illustrator, iMovie, and Keynote). During the pitch, I really wanted the client to feel that they were going on this journey with us; I wanted them to feel directly involved in the branding of their event. I felt that it was important to include a video, music, and word banks for them to understand how we came up with their theme’s identity and new meaning.

At Iacono, I had the opportunity to help our extraordinary video team with their pitches, RFPs, and their marketing materials. I was asked by the video department to help take their existing presentation and turn it into an interactive PDF that would allow the viewer to click on an area in the table of contents and be taken directly to that page. Here is a sample of some of the pages in their new updated marketing materials.
